That’s why we need to understand and support children’s unique nutritional needs at every stage, particularly in the first 1,000 days, since it is the most critical for the healthy development of the brain, body, metabolism, and immune system.
Indian National Nutrition Month
On the ocassion of the Indian National Nutrition Month from September 1 to September 30 to raise public awareness about nutrition and healthy eating habits. We at SMDT observed it to make people understand the importance of nutritional and adaptive eating habits so that they can maintain a healthy lifestyle.To highlight a few of them- training of Aww in complementary feeding, Nutrition awareness session among students and in the community.Sessions on Breastfeeding and complementary training for college teachers , online nutrition session for AAA, Adult nutrition session at many villages of Shrirampur and Rahata Block
